Wow! What a day!

Wow, what a great day!

First I went to the local Shop-O-Rama to put up some adverts for some of my old cereal packets that I have spare examples of, I do this every now and again even though nobody ever wants to buy them for some reason, even the rare collectible ones like the classic near-mint condition 1980s Weetabix packets (complete with Weetabix Club competition, free gift and animated skinhead characters on the box!) people even turn their noses up at my spare limited-edition, commemerative Chris Tarrant cornflakes packets!

And then - THE PHONE RANG!!!1

It was someone wanting to buy my spare cereal packets off me. ALL OF THEM! So I sold them and celebrated by going to the pub and having a nice single malt. Yum!

Then I went to see my friend Boring Bob, but he wasn't in. So I went home and read a book for a while, fired up my laptop and played an old computer game and then went on line to check my email and write this. Now I am eating some chocolate-covered Sesame Snaps that I got cheap at the local shop earlier this week.

Night then!

The rest of my exciting day!

Went for a wonder round town after I'd had my egg, cheese and pickle sandwiches. It was really interesting; the Army Surplus store had an actual scale model of a cold-war era nuclear weapon which they had dug out of the bay recently.

I bought some socks and then went in search of refreshment. The pubs were all shut and there were no cafes open that I liked so I ate my remaining cheese and pickle and egg sandwiches on a park bench. Then I went to Waterstones bookshop on that hill in the centre of town and looked at some books. There was some good stuff in "local interest" about the pig-farming industry in 1880 but I couldn't afford to spend money on books after splurging on socks so I read the books standing up in the shop for a while then went home.

Now I am writing this but I will stop soon because I have to alphabetise my cereal packet collection. Am thinking of starting a cardboard box collection as well - I wonder if anyone has any ideas of how to go about this?

My day so far.

I woke up today and put the radio on between channels. Then I had a cup of coffee. I was bored so I went on the internet. I found some websites, some of which were good and some of which were crap.

I've had a lot of coffee but no breakfast yet. I can't decide whether to have a cheese sandwich or some eggs. But I'm going to have a lot of fun finding out which I prefer today!

I found a really good website called cracked.com. It is funny. Here are some links from it:

The ultimate war simulation game. I can't wait to play it.

A humourous piece on a "talk board" where users are encouraged to parody the various error messages generated by the Windows operating system.

I have to go now so that I can have some breakfast.

My First Post

Welcome to my blog. I have decided to tell you about my everyday life, in minute detail, in my blog. It is going to be ironically postmodernly called "The Worst Blog In The World", because of irony is when you mean the opposite of what you say. Or is it when you say the opposite of what you mean? Anyway this is it, the worst, meaning the best, blog in the world.

Today I woke up at 8.32am. I had some coffee and went on the internet to start this blog :-) Then I had some more coffee and some food. Then I went out and bought an Easter egg and ate it. It was a dark chocolate Easter egg with fancy wrapping. Then I had a cup of tea and read a book for a while. Then I got bored of that and went for a walk down to the toxic waste disposal facility near where I live. I looked at some toxic waste and went home and ate something. It was a great day. Now I am writing this and will go to bed.
